~OUR HISTORY~
![]() | Quality Cash Market has had a reputation for fine meats for nearly 80 years! Roland Foy owned the business for 50 years, and was well known in the Concord NH area. The store was located on the corner of Rumford and Beacon Streets. |
Roland Foy sold the business to Edwin Heath Sr. & Thelma Heath in March of 1977. The Heath's ran the store with the help of their children. This first dollar is still in the store's scrapbook! | ![]() |
![]() | In September of 1982, Ed & Thelma sold the store to their eldest son Tony Heath who had worked in the store for several years. Tony's parents continued to work at the store for many years and Thelma still helps out today during the Thursday-Friday lunch crowd! |
Tony started out in the store business at the age of 15, working for Packers Outlet in Franklin NH, not realizing it would be the beginning of his career. He met a meat cutter named Pete Hebert. Pete had great influence on Tony and he worked with Pete until he entered the service in February of 1967. After serving three years in the Army, Tony lived in Reno, Nevada working in various supermarkets and small stores refining his skills as a meat cutter. In October of 1985 things came full circle when Pete Hebert came to work in the store with Tony.
